The Prescott Campus
“I chose Embry-Riddle’s Prescott Campus because of all the clubs and the smaller student body it has to offer,” he said. “My experiences have really blown away my expectations.”
The Prescott Campus is located in the mountains of Arizona, offering near-perfect weather for flying and outdoor activities, a tight-knit mountain community and low light pollution for astronomical observation.
As a first-year student, Noah’s classes were fun and interactive. He also found great friends and a support system in his roommates.
“We have a lot in common, and we all want the best for each other,” he said.
Campus Life is the Best Life
With 190 student clubs and organizations on campus, spanning academic disciplines, cultural communities, recreational interests, professional development and service, every student can plug in and find friends.
Getting involved on campus was a priority for Noah. He was elected as an officer of the Aviation Business Networking Club (ABNC), which enabled him to travel across the country for club events. Through networking at a CBSI luncheon, he was offered a job shadowing opportunity at LAX.
“I’ve made friends and expanded my professional network,” he said. “My favorite conferences are the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) conferences, especially the biggest one in Las Vegas — that conference was amazing!”
Faculty Mentorship Matters
Faculty mentorship is a big part of the Embry-Riddle experience, and Noah has benefited from the guidance of Associate Professor Dr. Jules Yimga at the Prescott Campus’ College of Business, Security & Intelligence (CBSI).
“My biggest mentor has to be Dr. Yimga. He has helped me both professionally and personally,” Noah said. “All the professors here want to help us succeed, and that’s another good reason to choose Embry-Riddle.”
With Yimga’s guidance, Noah has learned how to lead and mentor others, which will be important when he serves as president of the ABNC in 2026-2027.
Social Media Maven
Noah has also taken an active role in promoting the CBSI as a social media content creator, interacting with students and posting weekly content throughout the school year.
“It’s a great role, and it’s helped me a ton. I get to make fun videos and share Embry-Riddle and the CBSI through social media,” he said. “As one of the content creators, I post on Instagram, and my boss shares the posts on other platforms.”

Get Off on the Right Foot
As a first-year Eagle, he learned right away how helpful it was to make friends at orientation. Like Noah, most of his classmates were far away from home, family and friends.
“Try your very best to be an extrovert instead of an introvert,” he advised. “I feel like I’ve become much more outgoing since coming to Embry-Riddle.”
Each year, Noah chooses one word to focus on. His first year on the Prescott Campus, he chose “connect.” For his sophomore year, he has chosen the word “grow.”
“I keep three simple things in mind: do my very best in each class, be 1% better each day that passes and always keep my yearly word in mind.”
