Boeing Scholars Stories

Thanks to the generosity of The Boeing Company, eligible students may receive two-year scholarships through Embry-Riddle’s Boeing Scholars program.

What is the Boeing Scholars program?

The Boeing Scholars program is an initiative of The Boeing Company to develop qualified students for careers in aviation, with a special interest in aeronautical science and aviation maintenance science.

Who is eligible?

The Boeing Scholars program is available to new incoming students and will be selected and notified in early Spring.

No application is needed – all students who meet the scholarship eligibility criteria will be automatically reviewed for this award. Preference will be given to females, veterans (or their spouses/dependents using the GI bill or related programs) and underrepresented minorities with a strong academic background and demonstrated financial need.

What benefits are offered through this scholarship?

The scholarship’s financial award will range between $5,000 to $7,500/year for two years. Boeing Scholars, who remain part of a special cohort throughout their career at Embry-Riddle, will have access to additional benefits, including, but not limited to:

  • Group projects
  • Trips to Boeing facilities
  • Potential internship opportunities
  • Formal mentorship and/or other opportunities to informally connect with Boeing employees
  • Invitations to receptions and other events
